Cancellation Policy

At HelpersNow, we understand that plans can change. However, when a booking is cancelled at the last moment, it impacts both our cleaners’ schedules and our ability to provide timely service to other customers.


1. Standard Cancellations

  • Customers may cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time at no charge.
  • Any payments made will be fully refunded, or the booking can be rescheduled free of charge.
  • 2. Last-Minute Cancellations

  • If a customer cancels less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, a cancellation fee equivalent to 1 hour of the booked cleaning service will be retained.
  • This fee compensates the cleaner for their reserved time and lost opportunity.
  • The remaining balance (if any) will be refunded to the customer.
  • 3. No-Show Policy

  • If the cleaner arrives at the property and is unable to access the premises or the customer is not present, the booking will be treated as a last-minute cancellation, and the 1-hour cancellation fee will apply.
  • 4. Rescheduling

  • Customers may reschedule their booking once, free of charge, if the request is made at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours in advance will also incur the 1-hour cancellation fee.
  • 5. Cleaner Cancellations

  • If a cleaner cancels a booking, the customer will receive a full refund or free rescheduling, and HelpersNow will prioritise finding a replacement cleaner promptly.

  • HelpersNow reserves the right to update this Cancellation Policy as needed. All changes will be published on our website.
